Neal Ysart
Neal has over 40 years of leadership experience in the area of investigations, security, risk and compliance. He has worked within legal, regulatory and ethical boundaries his entire career and uses his skills and experience to help organizations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and to manage the threat of integrity, fraud, security, cyber, corruption and other financial crime and ethical risks.
A former Scotland Yard Police Officer with 16 years of law enforcement experience, Neal pioneered internet investigations, setting legal precedents in the field. After leaving the Police, his diverse private sector career includes roles as Lead Regulatory and Investigations Advisor at a global law firm, leadership positions in the Forensic practices of Big Four accounting firms, and leading a team of over 140 due diligence investigators for a global bank. He is the co-founder of The Coalition of Cyber Investigators, an OSINT, digital forensics and investigations think-tank.
Neal has a Masters Degree in Risk, Crisis & Disaster Management, is qualified to Masters level in Forensic Computing, holds an Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St. Andrews and is a Professor of Praxis at the Philippines Public Safety College.
